Platinum Plus Braid
Continuous research and feedback from anglers enabled Platypus to refine their popular Platinum entry level braid, packing the fibres closer together, decreasing diameter and enhancing the strength by up to 25%, giving birth to Platypus Platinum Plus.
Anglers wanted to maintain the affordability of the braid, along with the signature softness, handleability and trouble free casting, that had made the original Platypus Platinum an AFTA Award Winning braid. The thinner diameter, combined with a slick coating, made for excellent line lay and long casts, while allowing anglers to pack more braid onto their reels.
Anglers now had an Australian Made braid at a budget price, that packed the features and attributes found in much pricier products. A quality, 4 carrier, angler friendly braid, with increased abrasion resistance, excellent knot strength and a proven record of over 120 years of fishing line design, development and manufacturing experience.
