Fly Reels

Okuma's Airframe fly reel range offers anglers a quality entry level reel that features titanium-reinforced graphite construction, Japanese one-way stainless steel clutch bearing, oversized disc drag with stainless steel and Teflon discs, precision machined stainless steel spool shafts and more.

The SLV range of fly reels steps it up a level with ALC: Alumilite Diecast Aluminium Frame, large arbor spool design, multi-disc cork and stainless steel drag washers, roller bearing allowing the drag to engage in one direction only, precision machined brass bushing drive system and more.

Both fly reels can easily be converted between right and left hand retrieval.

Centre-pin Reels

Centre-pin reels have traditionally been used for fly, float and mooching worldwide, with Okuma standing apart based on the strength of their CNC machining facility in Taiwan, producing reels from the same precision factory that produces the world renowned Makaira game reels.

Float fishing is a unique and specific technique and centrepin users are deicated, knowledgeable and passionate about their sport. They are also extremely discerning about their tackle and the introduction of the Aventa set a new standard for what can be expected in a fully-machined float reel.

The Aventa is made from solid aluminium bar stock, for precision spool alignment and maximum freespool. With two stainless steel ball bearings the Aventa is excellent for casting directly from the reel or achieving drag-free drifts.
