ZMan New Colours - Summer 2022
We are excited to announce these new colour additions to the ZMan 10X Tough plastics range, again driven by angler feedback and requests. Fish on!

Blood Oil
This colour addition was inspired by angler requests as they mixed Motor Oil (UV) with Bloodworm (Non-UV) to create a UV Bloodworm. No more mixing required with Blood Oil combining a Motor Oil base with the realistic red and green micro glitter that gives Bloodworm its more subtle flash and natural look. The finished product is a natural green colour, with that proven Bloodworm glitter and Motor Oil UV pop, that has already accounted for PB captures and become an instant favourite for many anglers.
Dirty Oil
Another colour driven by angler requests, Dirty Oil was born as a reaction to the Midnight Oil colour. Midnight Oil has been extremely popular, with its silver glitter designed to create a natural scale flash as an added attraction to the UV. This inspired anglers to think of an opposite colour, wanting almost an ‘anti-flash’. They wanted to kill the flash off, by adding a black fleck and glitter to absorb the light and deaden the lure, creating a darker silhouette for dirty water and low light, while maintaining the UV pop. This is another colour that has already accounted for a stack of fish, thanks to its extremely natural look in the water with its natural glitter and fleck, along with its dark green colour.
Gold Rush
A favourite in the range, it’s no surprise that anglers requested this colour in more models. A black back transitions to a clear belly with gold glitter, giving this plastic a dark silhouette and that gold flash that excels in dirty water, tannin water and low light conditions. A classic in both the fresh and salt water, that has accounted for hundreds of species.
Houdini
Another favourite in the fresh and salt, Houdini is another laminate colour (separate top and bottom colours), with each of the two colours popular in their own right. The bottom colour of Houdini is Greasy Prawn and the top colour is Gudgeon, making this colour a guaranteed winner. The top colour is a darker green with more subtle UV than Motor Oil, while the bottom is a natural colour, with a mix of glitters to break up the colour and add to its natural realism. For those requesting a Gudgeon 2.5” Slim SwimZ for bream, bass, trout, and other species, this will be an absolute favourite.
Slam Shady
A more recent ZMan colour addition, Slam Shady has become an instant favourite, with plenty of requests flowing in for more models in this colour. A variation on the classic and popular Pearl colour, Slam Shady is a more natural offering with its semi-translucent, off Pearl colouration and micro glitter, enough to stand it out from the bait school. Pearl based colours are popular in all water types and conditions, with the plastic reflecting the water colour, in turn making it appear more natural in any conditions.
That’s a quick wrap on our new colour additions in existing models and as you can see, they have again been driven by angler feedback and requests, giving us added confidence that they will all be effective presentations.
