THE ORIGINAL INLINE SPINNER

When French engineer Andre Meulnart invented the Mepps spinner in 1938, it wasn’t long before he realized it was an extremely effective fishing lure. He didn’t realise, however, he had invented a lure that would revolutionize the fishing tackle industry. The Mepps Aglia is not only the original French spinner though, it is the original inline spinner, still the most popular and Mepps have embraced technology, creating new models such as the Aglia-e Brite series. Tested and proven in Australian waters for decades, Mepps spinners are dynamite on trout, redfin, bass, saratoga, sooty grunter and more. We look forward to seeing what you can catch on these world class spinners.

Brighter, deeper... The peculiarity of the Fluo blades is that they become visible when subjected to Ultra Violet rays, which penetrate deepest in the water. So, the Fluo blades, stimulated by Ultra Violet light, continue to 'glow' long after all the other colours have vanished. They are particularly efficient in murky water, cloudy weather and deep water.
