ZMan UV Plastics Guide
No-one does UV-reactive plastics like ZMan!
Check out how some of your ZMan favourites react under UV light.
In more recent times anglers have started to talk more about how lures react under UV light... even going as far as carrying a black light torch into tackle stores to shine on the lures to see how they react. The belief is that fish see UV light, thanks to UV receptors in their eyes, while humans do not. So, if a lure 'lights up' more under UV light, then it is more visible to the fish in the water. Anglers will often utilise UV-reactive plastics in low light conditions and murky water, switching to non UV-reactive plastics in clear, bright condition and especially in clear, shallow water. Fish on!
