Building on the success of the LRF range of spin rods, LRF GEN2 features ultra hi-vis tips for bite detection and Okuma's patented UFR (Unidirectional Fiber Reinforcement) in the tip blank for increased sensitivity, durability and up to 3X more lifting power than a standard rod blank.

This versatile range of rods transfers seamlessly between bait and lure fishing, with the two lighter models featuring split butt designs for a lightweight and balanced finesse casting rod, while the three remaining models feature full butt designs due to their popularity as bait rods, utilising rod racks and holders, while still transferring nicely to lure fishing, with the 7'4" a favourite on the flats where longer casts are often required.

Features:

  • Patent UFR technology on the tip blank for increased rod tip sensitivity, lifting power and maximum strength.
  • SeaGuide Unique XO guides, SS 316 frame and Sic inserts
  • Split butt models with smaller tip guides for balanced finesse fishing
  • Full butt models with larger tip guides for increased leader sizes
  • Deluxe Okuma gold label reel seat
  • Spiral carbon tape design on the butt section for improved strength and durability, while adding a highlight to the rod
Model: LRF2-S-662L
