Platypus Lo-Stretch is the monofilament for anglers that want the combined benefits of braid and monofilament lines in a single game changing line.

A lower percentage of stretch means more feel, more control and more hook setting power, while Lo-Stretch still maintains the ease of rigging, knot strength, abrasion resistance and price tag associated with a monofilament lines. For anglers that want to fish lures, but don't want to fish braid, Lo-Stretch is an option and for anglers fishing bait, Lo-Stretch offers more feel and more control.

Our line technicians have developed Lo-Stretch with the lowest percentage of stretch possible in a monofilament line, while still maintaining key Platypus monofilament characteristics, such as a slick, smooth finish, easy handling, excellent abrasion resistance and outstanding knot strength.

If you are battling elements such as waves, wind, water depth and current, then the low stretch characteristics may swing the game in your favour, with increased bite detection and overall feel, more hook setting power and more control over the hooked fish, while still maintaining an engineered amount of stretch to act as a shock absorber, reducing pulled hooks and bust offs.

Platypus Lo-Stretch is the best of both worlds for anglers. Spool up with a local.
